Fiber Optic Expansion

A strong road system is not enough.

In the modernizing economy, more and more young professionals are able to work from the comfort of their home. Software engineers to customer service reps - more and more companies are turning to “virtual offices” that do not require physical offices for their employees. Because of this, we are seeing the need for residential internet speeds to increase to keep up with the commercial data load that is being allocated to these systems. In conjuncture with Cheri Bustos and the USDA Rural Development Grants, the next person to be elected to our district needs to make broadband internet expansion a top priority for their campaign. If we turn a blind eye to this topic, we will see more families seeking for communities that understand their needs.
